My Studio

I teach both full-time committed students and also temporary and irregular students. I have a sliding scale for the cost of lessons based on the student's financial circumstances.

I am currently accepting students in Northern Colorado (Greeley, Loveland, Fort Collins, and Estes Park). I have multiple teaching locations and can also meet some students at their homes as my schedule allows. If you are interested in studying with me, please send me an email at:

Temporary Lessons

For students who are looking for temporary lessons or who are not able to commit to a regular schedule, I offer lessons on short term and as-needed bases. We will discuss what your needs are and the schedule you are able to commit to, then I will construct a curriculum that will accommodate. Some examples include regular lessons for a few months, a certain number of lessons within a few weeks, or irregular lessons as the student is able to fit them into their schedule.

After each lesson, I write out a detailed email with instructions, explanations, and links to examples and resources so that the student can work independently afterward. I am also always available to answer questions, even if we have not had a lesson in a long time!

Full-time Commitment

Full-time students have lessons once each week on an ongoing basis, with the focus being a full and robust education in violin playing. Twice each year, students have juries, where they perform for a group of music teachers as a sort of progress report, and once each year they have the opportunity to play in a recital.

After each lesson, I provide an email with a review of what we did, and instructions for the daily homework before the next lesson. I am also always available to answer questions as they arise!

*For full-time students, I require a one month notice to end lessons because this is a large part of my stable income.
