About My Studio
I teach in a few different places in Fort Collins and Greeley, and also teach some students at their homes. Most students will have one lesson each week on an ongoing basis ($60/hour), but for students looking for single lessons without a committed schedule I offer that service for $70/hour.

Studio Policies
Tuition
I charge $60 for each one hour lesson, and $70 for single lessons (those who are not interested in ongoing studies). For students preparing auditions, I also offer 90 minute lessons at a rate of $85 per lesson.

Attendance
When I teach at Boomer Music or Unity Church in Fort Collins, I am charged a rental fee for the space regardless of whether or not I use it unless I provide sufficient notice for cancellation. Because of that, students who have lessons at either of those locations are expected to attend each lesson, or else to provide a 48 business hour notice of cancellation. Without appropriate notice, I charge a fee of 50% of the cost of that lesson.

For students who have lessons at other locations, including their homes, I require a 4 hour notice of cancellation so that I can adjust my schedule if needed. For those students, cancellations with less than 4 hours notice may be subject to a fee of 50% of the cost of that lesson.

If I am not able to attend a lesson, I will provide notice as soon as possible and will attempt to accommodate make up lessons. Students will never be charged for teacher absence.

*For cancellations due to inclement weather, students will never be charged a fee.
Withdrawals and Dismissals
If a student withdraws at any point, they will be expected to provide a 4 week notice and are expected to pay the lesson fee for each lesson scheduled for those weeks.
At any time the teacher reserves the right to dismiss students. Reasons for dismissal include consistently not practicing, having a bad attitude, being rude and disrespectful, consistent issues with payment, and behaving in a way that is unsafe.
